From the very beginning, we started from a simple observation. As early as 2008, during an audit, we realized that not only was access to infrastructure information stored on paper complex and time-consuming, but the data itself did not always reflect the reality on the ground. This realization shaped our entire approach: it is essential not only to digitalize data, but also to structure it, ensure its reliability, and make it easier to read and share in order to unlock its full operational value.

Over time, the idea emerged to develop common models for structuring and exchanging infrastructure data, particularly in the field of FttH networks. Between 2015 and 2017, together with its partner Cadagéo, Dotic contributed to the development of the foundations of a national standard data exchange model on behalf of French public institutions.

Our story at the heart of data—its structuring and modeling—has continued to evolve over the years. This is reflected in our active participation in working groups dedicated to the dissemination and integration into our tools and in continuous innovation. We constantly add new functionalities designed to simplify access to data and maximize its reliability including the use of generative AI applied to GIS.

Key milestones

2015
Twelve French departments mobilize to build an FTTH data model.
2017
Standardization of the Franch standard GraceTHD v2 format, which became mandatory for the delivery of FttH infrastructures. 
2019
Orange uses ConnectControl for a large-scale asset transfer (400,000 subscribers). Speed, reliability and enhanced mediation are key outcomes.
2020

Orange entrusts us with replacing its RIP data export tool, integrated with our ConnectControl validation solution.

2021
Development for Altitude Construction of a mobile field application used to validate the commissioning of equipment (200+ users, 80,000 interventions/year). Result: shorter intervention times and faster information reporting, with better coordination between stakeholders. 
2023
Deployment at Orange of a data ingestion software integrated with ConnectControl. More than 30,000 connections injected into the information system with unmatched data quality.
